Yay, 313 in Color!

Ok, so my friends are basically awesome. Last night, when Ashley and I were on our date, Tae, Kym, and John had a vision. A vision of epic proportions. What follows is the result of that vision.

But first you need some background knowledge. First, this cartoon is an apartment staple, and anyone who comes over often enough will see it and learn to love it. Or be shunned. We quote it all the time - "Rhombus!(will be explained later)"

So, before you watch their movie, you have to watch this cartoon, and all of this will make sense. Note: it's kind of weird (though not like anime, Mom) and it takes most people a while to appreciate it as much as we do, but it's still pretty enjoyable.

Watch First -

And here is the awesomeness that transpired (my date was great, but a part of me wishes I had been there, it was so cool).

And here are some character "stills":

Tae as Jake the Friend-Dog

Kym as Stolen Diamonds

Jon as Diamond-Stealing Ninja

Tae the Awesome Lynn as The Old Man

Kym as Pen the Brave Boy

Snow White and the Self-Destructive Dwarfs

DUMdumDUMdumDUMdumDUMdum

Aaaaaaaannnnnddddd, here she is! Snow White in all her bruised, black-haired glory!

Yes. I, Tia Dunkley, went dark. Now, disclaimer: I did NOT mean to go this dark. I was going for a pleasant two, maybe three shades darker than my own, but this is what happened.

Let me tell you, I did not look this good coming out of the salon. Or in it. In fact, I looked cadaverous. Tia learned that dark brown does not go with her skin tone. At least not her winter tone. I may have to go snowboarding just for an excuse to get out in the sun.

And here's my horrible bruise that I got from running into the board in French. And, yes, it was as ridiculous as it sounds. I had to cling to Shingo for a good 10 seconds, whimpering. We were playing that game where you're in teams and you have to run up and slap a word/picture on the board that he says in French. With a fly swatter. Needless to say, we're a bit competitive and I wasn't the only one slamming into the board. But I was the one with the best war wound.

Another bruise - y'all saw these horrid ones.

This is sultry.

This is psycho.

This is Tae being snap-happy.

This is just a cool shot.

Aw, precious. Oh, and just for your info, it took 4 hours from start to finish to color, cut, dry, and style my hair. This is why it takes me so long to get my hair cut (Ha! I got my hair cut, Mom!).

Anyways, feedback, ladies, would be great. I'm excited now, because I've realized that my hair color really affects what I can wear, what makeup I can use, my eye color, etc. So, I'm going to be having a lot of fun these next few weeks (it's a semi-permanent). If I come home with a pink streak in my hair, try not to disown me. Tia's going punk!

PS On the back of my Odwalla bar, near the ingredients list, it said "You flaxy thang."
*falls off chair laughing*

Randomosities

We found this dog outside the Creamery on Ninth on a Saturday night after our stake conference (hence the skirt). He was just wandering back and forth in front of the sliding doors, stopping every once and a while to let people pet him. We figured he wasn't a stray (he was nice and clean and soft), which was confirmed when he finally followed someone when they left the Creamery and they didn't look confused. What a well-trained dog.

This is how I get to church every Sunday. It's at the Wilk, so it's not too far of a walk, but that's not good enough for my church shoes! So, I carry my heels/flats and stash these in the bathroom when I get there. A regular, ol' Superman, that's me.

These were a couple of characters we found at the Smith's in Orem - they kept asking us if we'd seen Eeyore. We figured they were playing some sort of awesome scavenger hunt where you had to chase down all the costumed people around town. So good!

The blasted variety Jelly Belly's wasn't working so I had to go Spiderman on it's unyielding lid.

This was the awesomeness that is the sign at Hollywood Video. Made me so irrationally happy.

Here is a quote from one of my k-dramas (Korean dramas) called Taste Sweet Love/Snow White. Kym actually started watching it after I was halfway through - for the record, 1 episode = 1 hour and 1 series = 16-24 episodes. So, she basically got the 8-hours of plot I'd gone through in 5 minutes and finished the series on her own (I burned out like 2 episodes after that - too much hysteria is just not good for the system). Anyways, this was a quote from the series (minus "Kimberly") which our main guy yells across an ice skating rink. In fact, I'll give you the link to that part, so you guys can have a free laugh at me and my ridiculous amusements *grin*.

Here's the link - wait till it loads all the way, then go to 6:15.

Here's a video of me dancing in our bathroom - don't judge me because I pretend to be cool.

Hallelujah, it's almost done, Hallelujah!

All right, here are some of my random pics first - I always have to upload whatever funny little pics I have by.
This was my dinner one night. First off, I wasn't very hungry (everyone looks at this and says, "That's all you ate!"), secondly, it's just pretty looking .

Where's Vader? My film teacher would be proud of my very awesome job of vectoring.

Me doing my nature experience out in the wild. Can't you tell from my I'm-so-glad-(not)-that-I'm-out-here-in-the-cold expression? I was supposed to be taking pictures of trees, but then I started playing with my camera - I love messing with exposure.

Ok, so we haven't taken very many apt. pictures this year, so today we went outside and had a nice little photo shoot (since we were all prettied up from church already). You'd be so proud, madre mia.
Pretty Kimmy with my exposure on high.

Just a warning, some of these may not be the best pictures for my roomies. Nothing's wrong with this one - just warning you. I fully admit that most of these pictures that I'm putting up are up because I look good in them. *guilt* Alas, vanity strikes even the strongest.

I looked at this picture from left to right, and when I got to Kimmy's face I cracked up. It's just too funny.

Pretty, pretty...

We got some fun candid cameras.

Ah, precious.

We look like kids on a playground here - Kimmy and Steph are rolling around, Kym's yelling at the teacher, and I'm looking at bugs.

Yeah. This just proves everything they've been telling me.

I love this one. Great shot, Jessica!

Shake that thing, miss Annabella!

Haha!

Kimmy has a couple more on her camera, and she stole mine to mess with these ones (she's a genius on photo shop), so more will come!

We Got Mo' Bounce in Arizona (Than All Y'all Combined!)

Ok, so I'm finally getting my act together and posting my AZ pics, but be forewarned - I'm not snap-happy like some relatives of mine, so mine aren't near as exciting. It's mostly my Darth Vader pics, but those are pretty cool, if I do say so myself. Especially the one with the knives *grin*.

Oh, and there are also some random pics from my blood-letting experience on St. V's Day. Cool stuff.

So, this is my arm Dr. Seuss-in' it while I wait for them to make sure my blood is good and clean. Which it is, thankyouverymuch *sniff*.

And here's the blessed act itself.

This is the ceiling, with whom I became very well acquainted with as I tried to distract myself. I must've shot 10 pictures of that light alone.

Kimberly's first time! I'm so proud...

Ok, here's the stuff you really want to see - doesn't it look like an alien planet?

Don't you just love the green moss? It was rather pretty, in an ethereal sort of way.

My beautiful, pointless head.

Well, they aren't much, but they're what I've got. Shae did a much better job of chronicling the weekend, but she seems to have a purer strain of the Mom-photography gene than I do. Still, my Vader pictures rock *grin*.
